DragonsWhere did they come from?
Where did they go?
Questions to which answers,
No one seems to know.

Beautiful and gentle,
As much as a flower.
They soon disappeared,
Due to man's lust for power.

Only those now
As rare as sages.
Can truely find a dragon
In these modern ages.

Once these creatures
Where the protectors of us all.
Sheltering great civilizations
Until they disappeared, leaving them to fall.

Everyone I know
Is a dragon you see.
I look out for you,
You look out for me.

Dragons will be with us
Through the reaches of time.
In fact there's one sitting here,
Teaching me this rhyme.

Or so many believe-
They fill fairytales,
Novels,
And haunts the past.
It's fierce eyes,
Gazing upon you,
staring into your being-
It's fiery breath,
The stench of lost souls-
Dried blood upon its talons,
A victim of the past-
The dragon's burning heart,
Driving his wings-
To spread his will-
To soar through the sky,
claiming it as his own-
The creatures driven,
By they're own being.

Never GIve a Kitten Ham

she bites and growls
and holds on tight
as she tries t keep her prize
a kitten is a vicious thing
when she doesn't get her way

nearly an inch resides down her throat
we try to pull it free

she won't wont let go, she won't give in
well, neither shall we

finally, we succeed
and try to calm her anger
but all we get, is a few dents
as she turns our fingers tender

A Voice Speaks in my Mind

a cool breeze in my hair
my heart is filled with fear
in my mind i see your face

i stand upon a bridge
watching people to and fro
i wonder where you've gone
whether you'll return

a tear slides down my face
i wish for you to come
and drown my sorrow
drown away my fears, my tears

now i see you, across the bridge
then you're here beside me
your gentle hand stops my tears
as you place your arms around me
like a claming voice, you speak into my mine

you speak words that heal
words that love
